Cookie Policy
Website and application storage and tracking notice
1. Purpose and scope
This Cookie Policy explains how YuktiPrep, operated by Asperion Digital Technologies (OPC) Pvt Ltd (“YuktiPrep”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies, what choices you have, and how to contact us. It covers yuktiprep.com, the subdomains listed in our cookie register, and any YuktiPrep application or embedded service that links to this Policy.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains our broader handling of account information, learning records, examination responses, subscriptions, communications, and personal data rights. This Policy addresses storage on, and access to information from, your device. Accepting optional cookies does not constitute consent to unrelated marketing messages or AI model training.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They may contain identifiers or settings that a website reads on a later request. Session cookies usually expire when a browsing session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry or deletion. Browser session restoration can affect when a session actually ends.
First-party cookies are associated with our domain. Third-party cookies are associated with another provider’s domain. Local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, pixels, tags, SDKs, app identifiers, and similar technologies can also store or access device information. We apply the relevant choices in this Policy to these technologies according to their purpose, rather than their technical name.
3. Cookie categories and choices
We distinguish technologies necessary to provide a service you request from optional technologies. Optional storage and tracking are disabled until you choose the corresponding category. Optional categories remain off if you reject them or leave the banner without choosing.
| Category | Purpose | Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, secure sessions, request integrity, load balancing, consent preferences, and essential checkout continuity. | Always active where genuinely needed for the requested service. |
| Preferences & functionality | Optional remembered language, appearance, or other convenience settings beyond what the requested service needs. | Off until enabled. |
| Analytics & performance | Optional measurement of visits, feature use, errors, and performance diagnostics to improve service quality. | Off until enabled. |
| Marketing & advertising | Optional campaign attribution, advertising audiences, or remarketing across external services. | Off until enabled; separate category. |
| External media & integrations | Optional video players, social widgets, or other embeds that access device information before you use them. | Blocked until the relevant choice or clearly explained activation. |
A provider’s label does not make a technology necessary. We assess each purpose. Optional analytics, advertising, and broad behavioural measurement are not treated as necessary merely because they support our business. Essential service and security logs that do not involve device storage or access are described separately in our Privacy Policy.
4. Information these technologies may process
Depending on the technology and category you enable, information may include a random session or device identifier; consent choices and policy version; browser and operating system information; IP address; coarse location derived from IP; page or feature visits; referral and campaign information; timestamps; performance diagnostics; and limited interaction events. If an identifier is connected to an account, the resulting information can be personal data even when the identifier itself does not contain your name.
Our policy is to avoid placing passwords, OTPs, payment card details, identity documents, examination answer text, private chats, or sensitive personal information in analytics or advertising cookies and event payloads. Necessary authentication cookies contain protected session references rather than readable account credentials. We do not describe data as anonymous unless it cannot reasonably be linked back to a person.
5. Your consent and cookie settings
On your first visit, our consent notice offers “Accept optional cookies”, “Reject optional cookies”, and “Manage preferences”. You can accept or reject optional categories individually. Strictly necessary technologies remain available to support the service you request. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to core learning services.
Silence, scrolling, continued browsing, creating an account, or accepting our Terms does not count as consent to optional cookies. Choices are not preselected. We do not use misleading button design or require optional advertising consent as a condition of ordinary access.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the permanent footer controls or browser settings. Withdrawal takes effect for future optional collection. We stop the affected optional tags and remove or invalidate associated first-party identifiers where technically possible. Cookies controlled by external domains may require deletion through your browser or the provider. Withdrawal does not reverse previously lawful processing; requests concerning previously collected personal data are handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We record sufficient evidence of your choice, such as a consent reference, selected categories, timestamp, and notice version. This record is used to honour and demonstrate your choices, not to create an advertising profile.
Choices generally apply to the browser or device where you make them unless we explicitly provide account-based synchronization. Clearing storage, using private browsing, changing devices, or materially changing our cookie purposes may cause us to ask again. New optional purposes require a fresh choice before activation.
6. Browser and device controls
Most browsers let you view, remove, or block cookies through privacy or site settings. Check the current help pages for your browser, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Mobile operating systems may offer app tracking, advertising identifier, and permission controls. These controls supplement our settings; an operating system permission does not automatically authorize every tracking purpose.
Blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in, secure sessions, checkout, or saved settings. Deleting cookies does not delete your account, subscription, or learning history. It may remove your recorded preference and cause the notice to reappear. Blocking third-party cookies alone may not block first-party tags or server-side transmission; use our cookie settings as well.
Browser privacy signals are handled where applicable law requires and our implementation supports them. This Policy does not claim universal support for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control; any supported behaviour is reflected in our settings and policy disclosures.
7. Third party services and external content
We may use approved providers for hosting and security, payment processing, diagnostics, optional analytics, media, or marketing. The register below identifies deployed providers, purpose, relevant storage, lifetime, and privacy notice. A provider is not activated for an optional purpose solely because it has been integrated into our code.
When you request checkout or another external service (e.g., Razorpay or Stripe), the provider may use technologies necessary for that transaction. Optional analytics or marketing by that provider must be assessed separately. The provider may act as our processor, an independent controller, or both for different purposes; its role and notice are disclosed in our register.
External videos, social content, and widgets may contact their provider and expose information such as your IP address when loaded. Where optional tracking is involved, we use a blocked placeholder or another consent-aware activation mechanism. Following an ordinary external link takes you to a separate service whose own notices and controls apply.
Sending events through a server-side endpoint, proxy, or first-party domain does not remove the need to honour your choices. Optional tracking restrictions apply to the purpose and associated data flow, including relevant server-side transmission.
8. Retention and international processing
The register states the actual lifetime of each deployed technology. A cookie’s expiry is different from the retention of information already transmitted to our systems or a provider. Server records, consent evidence, and associated personal data are retained under documented schedules described in our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal and security requirements.
We use lifetimes proportionate to the purpose and review them when a service or vendor changes. Necessary session storage ends according to the security design; optional persistent storage must have a justified expiry. We do not use indefinite optional identifiers or reset their lifetime to bypass a refusal.
Some providers may process information outside India. Our Privacy Policy and provider disclosures explain relevant locations and safeguards. Transfers comply with restrictions and safeguards applicable to the data and jurisdiction. This Policy does not promise that all cookie-related information remains in India.
9. Children and learning data
Our policy is not to use tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. Where a person is identified as under 18, optional behavioural tracking remains disabled and age-appropriate controls apply. Any required parental verification and any legally permitted exception are assessed under the laws in force; a parent’s cookie choice is not blanket permission for restricted tracking.
Learning progress, test results, and personalized study recommendations are governed by our Privacy Policy and the service you request. Rejecting optional cookies does not authorize deletion of these records or prevent us from providing necessary account features. We do not use individual answers or learning difficulties to build advertising audiences.
10. Security and personal data requests
We apply safeguards proportionate to the technology and information involved. Authentication storage is restricted to appropriate domains and paths and protected with suitable Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite controls where applicable. Optional identifiers must not become authentication credentials. Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute protection.
For questions about cookie-related personal data, requests to access or correct information, deletion requests, consent withdrawal, or complaints, contact the privacy contact below. We assess requests according to applicable law, identity verification needs, and lawful retention obligations. Cookie controls manage future optional tracking; an account or personal data request may require a separate process under our Privacy Policy or Grievance Redressal mechanism.
11. Changes to this Policy
We update this Policy when technologies, purposes, providers, or legal requirements change. The published version states its effective date. Material changes affecting optional purposes will be notified through an updated notice and, where needed, a renewed consent request before those purposes begin. Merely publishing a changed policy does not create consent.
